As a Lead Solution Director you want to work on innovations that matter. At Planon you can. We need you to further develop our software solution for Field Services and to bring it with our product managers, developers, partners and eco-system to new markets.
As a lead Field Services, you add value in many ways by:
- Knowing the field services industry and software solutions market both from a European and global perspective;
- Being connected to the main players in the market and use your network for business development and thought leadership;
- Being subject matter expert on field services management, financial planning and reporting;
- Leading a team of Product Managers to define, position and bring a solution that is sold and implemented by our Business Areas and partners, and developed by our Development Teams
- Creating a clear multi-year solution vision and business cases for expanding the solution based on:
- Company vision and strategy
- Development of the market
- Customer and partner feedback
- Managing a multinational 5 FTE team of highly qualified specialists
- Working closely with the VP Solutions and your peer Lead Solution Directors to define the vision on Planon solutions as product market combinations.
To fulfil this exciting Lead Solution Director job, we need you to operate strategically, market-oriented, analytical, and collaborative. You have a proven track record in field services management, facility management and/or software implementation and experience with multiple aspects of this role.
Our ideal candidate ticks all the following boxes:
- A relevant degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Controlling or a related technical field
- Financial and reporting knowledge for financial planning and analysis.
- At least 10 years’ experience as a (Business) Consultant, Solution Director or Field Services manager, with a clear focus on the outside-in approach and relevant knowledge of the Field Services market.
- Experience with Field Services software, preferably including knowledge of Building Management software and SAP solutions;
- Customer-centric thinking with excellent skills to translate market problems into appealing solutions;
- Able to think in concepts and communicate this within the organization;
- Familiar with and strong interest in IT, technology, innovation and industry trends;
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English. Additional language skills in German and French can be beneficial in your role.
